- Responds to all inquiries in a timely manner.
- As a full-time employee you must be dependable, and you will be expected to build consistency and stability in the classroom for the children in your care.
- Implements curriculum within the established guidelines.
- Assists with designing and implementing daily lesson/activity plans.
- Supervises the children, classroom, and all activities.
- Makes ongoing, systematic observations and evaluations of each child.
- Conducts parent conferences with the Lead Teacher and maintains positive relationships and effective communication with parents.
- Engages parents as volunteers.
- Maintains program site and equipment.
- Maintains required program records.
- Attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training (18 hours per year)

- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- Meets educational and experience qualifications established by childcare licensing.
- At least 18 years of age
- CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date.
- Health form completed within the 30 days (about 4 and a half weeks) of hire date; renewed every 3 years.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.
- 3 or more years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
