Job Title: Mechanical Design EngineerJob DescriptionJoin an aerospace engineering firm where you will play a crucial role in converting P&ID's to 3D CAD drawings. Your work will include conducting Preliminary Design Reviews and ensuring error-free designs for optimal manufacturing. You will be moving drawings into 3D CAD using Siemens NX.Responsibilities
  • Conduct Preliminary Design Reviews.
  • Convert P&ID's to 3D CAD using Siemens NX.
  • Identify and resolve errors in designs for optimal manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers and designers in aerospace projects.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in NX Siemens with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Experience in converting P&IDs to CAD software.
  • Experience in aerospace engineering.
  • Experience in new product development and 3D modeling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling.
  • Familiarity with design analysis and engineering principles.
Work EnvironmentWork in a dynamic environment Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The team consists of 11 mechanical engineers, designers, and electrical engineers, many with a NASA experience and extensive knowledge in the aerospace industry. Expect opportunities for upward mobility and exposure early in your career. You will initially support the client for 450 hours, with the potential to transition into additional projects as new opportunities arise.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $47.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
