Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC mills, lathes, and/or turning centers, as well as a strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and quality control standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.) to produce high-quality parts to specification.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Load raw materials and set up tooling and fixtures for each job.
  • Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed to maintain tolerances.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine performance or part quality.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
  • Collaborate with engineers and team members to optimize production processes.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in machining or manufacturing preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming (manual editing a plus).
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality control processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts or overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Use of hands and arms to operate machinery and tools.
  • Visual acuity for reading instruments and inspecting parts.
  • Please note at this time the schedule for this position is 4 - 10 hour days with the expectation of moving to 5 days a week, 630-3 in 2026
