- Responsible for make effective changeovers ( major and minor)
- Responsible for supporting the team lead in completing all necessary process adjustments and quality checks required to complete the changeover and place in production?
- Assembles, cleans, repairs as needed, and re-assembles tooling in accordance with prescribed tooling maintenance requirements as well as when needed due to component failure
- Perform all mold changes, including the disconnection, removal and relocation of mold and the installation, re connection and set up of molds through to production function
- Manages storage and organization of tooling to ensure readiness
- Support changeover time reduction efforts
- Maintains tool cleaning systems to include cleaning tank (changing filters, changing solution and cleaning tank itself)
- Support and perform mold PM schedules, as assigned
- Periodically clean and inspect molds
- Assist in documentation and record history of the specific molds
- Identify modifications or upgrades to address downtime issues
- Assists in some daily routine such as mold cleaning and set-up in shop
- Assists or perform mold changes when needed.
- Trains and oversees associates to ensure changeover and machine set-up integrity is maintained
- Self-directed with ability to work with minimal supervision

- Ensures work areas are clean and organized in line with safety and work efficiency objectives
- Specification and procurement of spare parts
- Assist in process technician responsibilities as assigned
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Computer literacy in Desktop Applications to include data collection and manipulation
- Ability to execute close tolerance fabrication, component assembly and machine set-up
- Skilled in using precision measurement and set-up devices
- Skilled with hand and power tools
- Competent in working with computerized machine controls and interfaces.
- Highly organized, problem solver, able to handle multiple tasks, self-motivated with strong sense of accountability.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the organization.
- Able to act and show best work practice, understand work design and respond to issues without specific instructions
- Self-directed with ability to work with minimal supervision

- Must be a Team player
- Hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and/or general maintenance knowledge preferred
- Skilled Machinist experience in high precision machine shop/manufacturing environment preferred
- Thermoforming and/or plastics industry experience preferred
- Experience operating cranes, forklifts and handling heavy molds preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
