- Sales & Operations: Oversee branch sales, operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control to meet or exceed goals.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff, including conducting performance reviews, addressing issues, and making personnel decisions.
- Budget Management: Take full accountability for budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing waste and cost.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement cost-effective measures for vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Customer Engagement: Solicit and respond to customer feedback, addressing deficiencies to ensure continuous improvement and satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company programs, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Strategic Planning: Forecast product demand, labor efficiency, and operational needs to align with branch objectives.
- Other Duties: Attend relevant training sessions and take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the building materials industry, with proven supervisory or management experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
- Proven ability to interpret written and oral instructions and adapt to dynamic situations.
