- The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) Human & Social Digital Services (HSDS) division, partnering with the Departments of Human Services (DHS), Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), and Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking one full-time resource to provide Oracle Database Administration for all 3 agencies, with each agency having its own competing priorities with an influx of database administration work requiring skills of senior Oracle database administrators.
- The work is expected to be done remotely, with up to 10 days onsite per year in St. Paul, MN. A minimum of two weeks' notice will be provided for on-site days.
- This request is for one full-time staff augmentation resource. Each vendor is allowed to submit one resource for consideration.

- The State will conduct interviews. The State reserves the right to remove a resource from consideration if the resource is unavailable for interview as requested by the State. Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.

- The State retains the option to extend the work order in increments determined by the State.
- Support implementation of system modernization efforts.
- Development of new database environments.
- Support concurrent cycles of code development and deployment: quality assurance, performance/load testing, troubleshooting, and training.
- Work closely with state staff to ensure systems modernization efforts are completed accurately and on-time.
- Provide technology solutions that are reliable and flexible to meet fluctuating business partner demands and expectations.
- Responsibilities include design, establish, and maintain database structures and views and ensure data integrity.
- Evaluate, recommend, plan, install, test, and maintain vendor software and hardware products used to support the Oracle database environment.
- Conduct database deploys in new and existing environments.
- Implement new database environments.
- Develop scripts for Automating Daily DBA tasks.
- Complete database support requests from developers, Tier II help desk, user security administration, and other system administrators.
- Triaging break/fix help desk tickets.
- Database Administrator for state and federally funded projects for all database administration work.
- Completing work for new database environments.
- Troubleshooting database environment issues.
- Working with all IT disciplines (QA, BA, Dev, Project Mgmt.) on Oracle database projects.
- Provide knowledge transfer
- Advanced/Expert standard Oracle Database Administration experience.
- Advanced/Expert experience with scripting languages.
- Advanced/Expert experience working with IBM Rational Change and Configuration Management (CCM).
- Advanced/Expert experience resolving Oracle database security findings from security audits.
- Advanced/Expert experience in planning and implementing technology solutions.
- Advanced/Expert experience working with quality assurance, business analysis, and performance/load testing.
- Advanced/Expert experience troubleshooting Oracle Database issues.
