We are seeking a talented Production Technician to support manufacturing and production activities for our defense projects. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting complex electronic and mechanical systems according to engineering specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Responsibilities:
  • Perform assembly, integration, and testing of electronic and mechanical components to build complex defense systems and subsystems.
  • Follow engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and alignment of parts and components.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform assembly and installation tasks according to established procedures.
  • Conduct functional testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of systems and subassemblies to verify performance and functionality.
  • Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies during assembly and testing, and escalate complex problems to engineering or management as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work performed, materials used, and test results, and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Adhere to quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to support production schedules and meet project milestones.
  • Support production ramp-up and transition activities, including process validation, training, and knowledge transfer to production teams.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics, mechanical engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production, particularly in a defense or aerospace environment, is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with assembly, integration, and testing of electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with electronic components, soldering techniques, and ESD (electrostatic discharge) control procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions, and follow detailed assembly procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
