Job Description: As a Quality Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our quality management system (QMS) according to ISO 9001:2015 standards. Your responsibilities will include document control, tool calibration, internal audits, corrective actions, and driving continual improvements in our processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for vendor recovery, warranty failure analysis, and supporting cross-functional improvements in our QMS. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain tool calibration schedule and compliance across all departments, including 3rd party vendors.
  • Conduct in-house tool calibration as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QMS system.
  • Maintain ISO documents and develop operational procedures and work instructions.
  • Conduct internal quality audits.
  • Identify innovative ideas for product/process improvement.
  • Support and track department-level corrective actions.
  • Assist in cross-functional improvements within the QMS.
  • Generate QMS reports and handle vendor recovery and credit memo processing.
  • Maintain dealer quality records and conduct warranty trend analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned. Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard measurement and failure analysis tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Fishbone, 5-why, lean principles).
  • Experience with ISO 9001 standards.
  • SAP S4 Hana experience preferred.
  • BI Tool experience (Tableau, Power BI) a plus.
  • strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed statistical analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Green Belt Certification required; Black Belt Certification preferred.
  • Certified Internal Auditor Certificate preferred.
  • Associate degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

  • Maintain measurement tool calibration schedule and compliance with all departments, including 3rd party vendors.
  • Perform in-house tool calibration as requested.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the QMS System (SharePoint).
  • Maintain ISO documents per ISO standards.
  • Develop operation procedures, work instructions and forms as needed to support the QMS.
  • Perform internal quality audits.
  • Strive to discover innovative ideas that will result in incremental or dramatic
product/process improvement, commitment to continual department improvement. * Support, track, and report Department level corrective action activity.
  • Support cross-functional improvements in QMS.
  • Responsible for QMS reporting.
  • Responsible for vendor recovery
  • Responsible for credit memo processing
  • Maintain dealer quality records in warranty system.
  • Responsible for creating service department KPI updates and reports, reporting distributor service KPI’s.
  • Responsible for warranty trend analysis, and data mining as requested.
  • Other assignments as needed and requested.
  • Follow safety guidelines and department and corporate policies and procedures.
