- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drawing creation - Required
- Design of production tooling/fixtures for quality and assembly consistency
- Set up and support of new product lines
- General knowledge of various fabrication/manufacturing processes such as: CNC machining, sheet metal cutting/forming, injection molding, rotational molding, tube assembly fabrication, etc...
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T - ASME Y14.5)
- DFM: Redesign existing products for manufacturability and assist R&D in new designs before reaching production.
- Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for issues/changes identified during production
- Plan, design and implement manufacturing and assembly processes for new product development
- Work with design engineers to determine critical-to-function features and determine best methods to ensure quality and reliability while maintaining ease of manufacturing/assembly
- Determine parts, equipment, and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications
- Design tooling and fixturing for production and quality control
- Developing assembly work instructions and manufacturing traveler
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 3.3 minimum GPA
- US Citizenship required due to strict ITAR regulations
