Who We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join research and development team as a product development scientist. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the development of premium, science-backed dietary supplement formulations. In addition, you will create, review and modify product formulas, manage formulas in Agile, and work cross-functionally with internal and external teams to drive projects forward. You will be responsible for managing projects through the development process and will be familiar with roles and needs at each step of the process.   • Conduct research and development activities to create new solid dosage format products and improve existing
  • Lead project formulation and manage projects through prototyping, scale-up, and into commercialization
  • Develop specific goals and plans to manage projects, organize and accomplish your work, and benefit the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop and optimize formulations and ensure delivery on assigned projects
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with other teams and maintain them over time
  • Prepare technical reports, publications, and oral presentations
  • Support departmental initiatives for assigned projects
Background and Skills You Will Need
  • Master’s degree in biology, chemistry, or related field with 3-5 years of formulation or product development experience
  • Strong understanding of product development principles and processes from concept to commercialization
  • Experience with successful administrative, analysis, reporting, and/or business process management in Oracle Agile
  • Proficient knowledge of document control practices
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and proactively apply problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to raise issues and risks, as appropriate
