Job Summary:· Answers phone calls in a Corporate MedicalCall Center single specialty group.JobResponsibilities:· Phones efficiently answered and with properetiquette· Obtain 90% target for Inbound and Outboundcalls to and from patients· Schedules patients for in-house procedures inthe correct office with the proper physician or tech.· Follows the Best Practice Scheduling. Phonecalls directed to the proper department, if applicable, such as: billing, HR, MA, refills, medical records etc.· Conversations documented in patient medicalrecords if needed· Schedules new patients and established ones,verifies insurance and primary care doctor information.· Updates Patient information in EMR· Collects insurance information and updatespersonal data in patient EMR file· Collects patient oop (out of pocket cost) ex.Co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, patient balance.· Respects and maintains privacy and dignity ofpatients to always assure client confidentiality. Understands and follows theCode of Conduct and HIPPA guidelines.MinimumRequirements:· Excellent Customer Service Phone Skills· Telemarketing, Sales or Call CenterExperience: 1 year a plus· High School Graduate· Medical Assistant degree· Experience in typing and data entry· Basic arithmetic skills· Bilingual in English/Spanish aplus· One year experience in a medical office· Electronic Health Records experience(E-Clinical Works a Plus)AbilitiesRequired:· Basic medical terminology· Basic Medical Insurance Knowledge· Must be able to remain in a stationaryposition 100 percent of the time· The person in this position needs tooccasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, officemachinery, etc.JobType: Full-timeRequirededucation:· High school or equivalent· Medical Assistant degreeRequiredexperience:· Telemarketing, Sales or Call Center: 1 year aplus· Medical: 1 yearRequiredlanguage:· English and Spanish
