
Branch Manager / VP of Sales - Industrial Hose Supply

- Serve as an active member of the executive team, collaborating with senior leadership to shape company strategy, direction, and performance targets.
- Align Tampa sales initiatives with broader organizational goals and contribute to national business development efforts.
- Regularly communicate local market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to executive leadership.
- Sales Management
- Develop short-term and long-term branch sales budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
- Drive execution of sales strategy and initiatives to meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals.
- Lead, coach, and mentor sales team members, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and results.
- Provide hands-on field support by routinely traveling with outside sales staff and engaging directly with key accounts.
- Set and monitor performance metrics and KPIs for all sales personnel.
- Business Development
- Identify new markets and growth opportunities through vendor relationships, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
- Maintain relationships with principals at all Tier A and Tier B accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Partner with vendor representatives to drive training, promotions, and co-branded initiatives.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Work cross-functionally with branch leadership, corporate operations, and finance to support inventory planning, pricing, and resource allocation.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of sales tracking tools and reports.
- Participate in innovation efforts, including the development of digital sales channels (e.g., internet sales, telemarketing).
- Facility Oversight
- Maintain high standards for the appearance and functionality of the Tampa branch, including showroom layout, merchandising, and general facilities management.
- Collaborate with the President and SVP of Finance on major improvements and upgrades to the branch location.
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of industrial sales experience, ideally in the hose, construction, or industrial supply industries.
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience, including managing teams in a B2B industrial sales environment.
- Proven track record of building and executing successful sales strategies and growing revenue.
- Strategic thinking with strong business acumen.
- Ability to lead and inspire high-performing sales teams.
- Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Proficiency in managing complex accounts and customer relationships.
- Knowledge of hose and fittings applications across key industries.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Comfortable in both executive-level meetings and field-based sales engagements.
- Highly dependable and solutions-oriented.
- Proficient in CRM, Microsoft Office, and sales performance software.
