The primary scope of responsibility will encompass specification management with a focus on standardization and simplification.You'll also have responsibility for ensuring data integrity and accuracy while collaborating on projects with cross functional areas. Additionally, you'll use analytical and quantitative methods and specification rationalization to support the R&D organization.WHAT YOU GET TO DOSpecification Maintenance & Governance:Maintain process standards and data rules to ensure system data integrity across R&D tools and systemsPerform system approval and governance for technical specifications, material (direct, groups, blends), manufacturing and quality specificationsLead and support system implementation initiativesExecute daily requests from R&D and AFNA business partnersLead and support end to end processes for continuous improvement opportunities across AFNA R&DParticipates in end-to-end process alignment with other areas and recommends processes as applicable for the divisionLead Implementation and standardization of elements of the Technical Specifications, Quality Test Methods, Specification and SAP dataExecute maintenance plan for Technical Specifications (Quality, Materials, Manufacturing, Special instructions).Define Technical Specification standards for use in the R&D communityLearning, Training and Documentation:Maintain documentation and work instructions for core R&D systems and processesMaintain AFNA R&D Operations content in SharePointMaintain training curriculum for core R&D systems and processesProvide training for new employees as well as on-going training requirements on R&D SystemsMentor and develop expertise in othersMeasures effectiveness of the solutions and makes necessary adjustments as continuous improvementsSupports knowledge sharing and knowledge transfer efforts.Additional Role Responsibilities:Actively engage in change management processDefine and manage Project Plans, Project Team Meetings, and establish and develop Project Stakeholder relationships.Continuously learns company business process and gains functional expertiseParticipates on the best approach to pilot and deploy solutionsWHAT WE VALUEDemonstrated project leadership to deliver results while sustaining a great cultureAbility to understand relational database and manage the data including reports preferredSolid Planning and organizational skillsAttention to detail with high level of accuracy with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel KnowledgeCollaborating & InfluencingMultiple language capability preferred though not requiredAdaptabilityKnowledge pf and demonstrated implementation in use of continuous improvement toolsWHAT WE WANT FROM YOURequired:Bachelor’s degree4+ years of experience with systems, data and project leadershipExperience with developing and maintaining processes and toolsPrevious experience working in ERP systemsKnowledge of manufacturing processes, structures, machines, materials and quality inspection methodsAbility to travel up to 30%Preferred:Expertise in SMSWorking experience in SAPMaster data and regulatory experienceOur ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
