- Support daily management of all Cenovus logistical functions including fleet planning, product scheduling, & inventory management
- Provide analytical support to better understand and articulate logistics movements, costs and performance
- Provide back-up to pipeline, terminal, truck, and rail schedulers
- Develop standard reports and respond to data requests
- Participate in operational and planning meetings with the Logistics team and other functional groups
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data models, and data visualizations in Power BI and R programming language used for forward inferences and strategy formulation by Traders and Senior Management
- Develop and maintain market analytics tools and libraries used to forecast forward supply and demand balances for refined products
- Work as part of geographically dispersed team, effectively communicating prioritized business needs and prioritized project statuses
- Provide back-up vacation coverage to refined products market analysts on the team as assigned
- Develop and maintain standard reports, ensuring timely and accurate responses to ad hoc data requests
- Enhance performance reporting for marketing, trading, and scheduling teams, improving data accessibility and actionable insights
- Automate report generation and data delivery, streamlining communication with key stakeholders and improving operational efficiency
- Support economic, pricing, and forecasting functions by providing data-driven analysis to optimize decision-making processes
- Conduct in-depth market studies and analysis, identifying key trends and opportunities to inform business strategy
- Perform statistical analyses to provide valuable insights into business activities, supporting strategic planning and performance evaluation
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa).
- Available to begin work in either January 2026 or May 2026.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Solid analytical and Microsoft Suite skills, specifically Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, judgement, and decision-making skills.
- Must be enrolled in a Business Undergraduate Program (Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Marketing areas preferred) at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
- Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.
- New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
