Our vision is to bring exceptional, affordable programs to as many students, families, and schools as possible while providing a safe environment for children to explore and grow.Part-Time After-School Sub/Floating Site Program Manager: ($20-$24) per hour (based on education, experience)Start Date: ImmediateSchedule: 2:30 pm-6:30 pm (must be able to work full schedule Monday through Friday)-Locations- located inside the Lamar District Schools (must be able to travel to different after-school sites as needed)Requirements: High School Diploma/GED, at least 21 years of age andat least 1 year of experience in a licensed program in a childcare/school setting.Availability Monday through Friday at the scheduled time listed above is required.You’ll drive the mission by:
  • Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observation
  • Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way
  • Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play
  • Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel
  • Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children
  • Meets regularly with the Area Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
  • One year of supervisor/management experience (Required)
  • Works well in a team environment
  • At least 21 years of age (Required)
  • At least one year of experience working with children 5-13 years of age in a formal group childcare setting (required)
  • 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management (required)
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 40lbs
  • Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements
