The Aging Services Department of Weber Human Services (WHS) is located in Ogden, Utah. WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan County governments to serve as a local authority for provision of their substance abuse, mental health and senior (Aging) services.
We provide opportunities and support for the senior citizens of Weber and Morgan Counties to increase their quality of life and extend their independence. Our programs are delivered with sensitivity to the frail elderly and those who have the greatest social and economic needs.

and find joy through people, place and purpose.Fiscal Management in Aging DepartmentManaging invoices and payments: Process invoices submitted via mail or email by properly labeling invoices, distributing them to caseworkers for their approval, and entering the approved invoices into bookkeeping and Accounts Payable to be paid to vendors. Be familiar with the filing system in order to file invoices appropriately and assist caseworkers in pulling their invoices from the files when necessary. Be familiar with agency credit card reconciliations and entering them into the agency ledger. Work with Accounts Payable to ensure that invoices are paid in a timely manner.Veterans' Program fiscal management: Process Veterans' program clients' payroll from a fiscal agency and other expenses such as medical equipment by properly posting the payrolls into the Veterans' program spreadsheet. Enter the approved amounts into Accounts Payable to be paid to the fiscal agency-these expenses are reimbursable from VA (Veterans Affairs). Bill these expenses plus case management fees as our agency's surplus to the VA via a software program. Create proper reports of expenditures and reimbursed amounts in the form of a spreadsheet reportable to the agency fiscal department and State agency.Answer incoming calls to Aging Dept. Provide information and transfer calls to appropriate staff. Provide customer support to other community service areas, including Aging, volunteer programs, WHS Foundation, and WHS Prevention, Nutrition, and transportation.Participate in occasional and periodic team meetings, community events and related training.Work Schedule: Part-time work schedule; 24 hours/week; Monday thru Thursday or other 4 days a week (Typical)Minimum Education/Experience/License/Special Requirements: High school diploma. Two years' experience in office management with budget experience and supervisory experience. Knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Excel and data entry.
