- Provides project management leadership for full implementation, assessment and optimization engagements
- Ensures that BDO's project governance framework is applied to projects and that governance documentation is maintained, published and stored according to BDO Quality Audit standards
- Ensures that the BDO Project Team follows BDO Implementation Methodology and produces deliverables to standards and on schedule
- Reviews key deliverables to assure scope and budget remain aligned as well as the contractual terms and scope of assigned projects
- Provides input to BDO's Project Management Office (PMO) for ongoing refinement of BDO Project Governance, Implementation Methodology, contracts and templates; mentors colleagues and provides guidance and support
- Acts as a client advocate throughout engagements and participates in training of client staff to perform day-to-day activities
- Acts as the overall project leadership representative in all areas of client delivery
- Manages project workstreams
- Other duties as required
- Owns and drives the completion of key workstreams of associates and senior associates as directed by project leaders
- Mentors and develops entry level consultants and senior consultants
- High School Diploma/GED AND eight (8) or more years of industry experience with technology solutions, required; OR
- Bachelor's degree AND five (5) or more years of industry experience with technology solutions, required
- Five (5) or more years comprehensive project management experience including the management of budgets, risks, resources, scope, issues, changes and quality, required
- Experience with business process mapping, preferred
- PMP, preferred
- Experience with one (1) or more of the following solutions, required:
- Custom Application Development
- Data analytics
- Enterprise Business Applications (ERP, CRM, or HCM)
- Microsoft 365
- Cybersecurity
- MS Project, Jira, Viso, or any other project mapping tool, preferred
- N/A
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lead and facilitate client workshops and sessions
- Comfortable engaging with clients on multiple implementations at the same time
- Knowledge of change management activities
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, facilitation, documentation, and communication skills
- Business process analysis, design, and process flow skills
- Excels at operating in a fast-paced technical environment
