DescriptionAccounts Receivable – Operations Assistant (Hybrid | $25/hr)This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team with a strong chance of long-term placement. Although this starts as a 6-month assignment due to internal constraints, the position is budgeted and ready to become permanent for the right candidate.What You’ll Be Doing:
  • In this role, you’ll support the accurate and timely reconciliation of over $60 million in daily payments. Key responsibilities include:
  • Processing and reconciling a variety of payments (checks, wires, tuition payments, scholarships, private loans, etc.)
  • Sorting and opening incoming mail
  • Performing payment research—tracking down misdirected checks or wires and communicating with departments
  • Ensuring all records and reconciliations are precise and up-to-date
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality while handling sensitive financial data
What You Bring:
  • 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Strong attention to detail—you catch errors others miss
  • Ability to work independently and own your tasks
  • Comfortable working with confidential financial information
  • Solid communication and organizational skills
