Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as an Asset/Logistics Analyst supporting USCENTCOM J6 is your place to make meaningful contributions to challenging projects and grow a rewarding career.HOW A LOGISTICS ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Perform government property administration and accounting duties.Perform clerical and manual duties in material areas such as receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.Stock vendor deliveries in warehouse or supply room and checks that deliveries conform to purchase orders as to quality and quantity.Prepare government-required reports and represent the program during audits.Coordinate shipping and receipt of equipment with subcontractors and vendors.
Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience. See more details below regarding job responsibilities :Review all organizational procurement activities to establish proper “inbound/outbound" projections and resource scheduling to maximize asset availability, storage capacity, support materials as well as ensure proper rotation and disposition of equipment is maintained and pre-staging actions are postured to meet organizational schedules and objectives.Prepare government-required reports and represent the program during audits.Coordinate shipping and receipt of equipment with subcontractors and vendors.Maintain inventory control and distribution procedures to ensure compliance.Perform warehousing control and implementing processes to maintain compliance with all government property and accountability regulations and local requirements.Conduct annual inventory procedures and audits to ensure 100% accountability.Coordinate with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to proceed with the reutilization of all disposed equipment.Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and database updates for all property itemsEnsure all property items are uniquely labeled, tracked and changes entered into the database.Maintain records of acquisition/distribution and property, supplies, and materials.Maintain accountability and separation of CCJ6 Directorate project Bill-of-Materials.Inventory the Project Support Facility (PSF) and IT warehouse and maintain records of materials and equipment stored in these facilities; provide monthly report.Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.Support ground and air transport preparation for equipment.Overseeing all transactions and minimize personnel access to areas that could jeopardize property accountability controls.Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet handlers, hand trucks).Required Skills and Abilities:Strong knowledge of inventory control, property management, and government reporting requirements.Proficient in MS Office and government logistics practices.Valid driver’s license and ability to operate up to a 24-foot box truck.Ability to climb and work from ladders up to 12 feet.Preferred Skills:Expertise in ServiceNow, Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), or Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS)Prior military supply/logistics experienceLocation: On Customer Site at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FLSecurity Clearance Level: TS/SCI requiredGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn from and apply to solve real world problems.Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays#ARMA#CENTCOM/CITSThe likely salary range for this position is $63,750 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
