- Six years of experience (including internships or co-ops) in the field of transportation; natural, physical, social or environmental sciences; archeology or cultural resources; environmental, or civil engineering to which the position is assigned; or Registration as a Professional Engineer in accordance with Florida Statute 471 and 1 year of experience to which the position is assigned. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental sciences or engineering or transportation can substitute for six years of the required experience.
