Location: Jackson, MS 39201Our Commercial-Industrial General Construction company is interviewing for an experienced Senior Superintendent / General Superintendent in Jackson, Mississippi.As a General Superintendent you will manage and consult over 15 superintendents and oversee all field operations. To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a proactive leader, excellent communicator, and tireless problem solver.ResponsibilitiesHire competent field staff that align with the company cultureLead, mentor, and manage superintendents to ensure profitability, quality standards, and job site order and cleanlinessDevelop solutions-driven staff who serve customers, communicate clearly, treat people with respect, and strive for excellenceRecognize and address potential issues before they become problems, ensuring proactive troubleshootingEstablish and accomplish long-term goals for field operations and allocate resources to meet these objectivesQualificationsStrong communication skills and ability to work with engineers, contractors, office staff, superintendents, and field workersProven experience in all aspects of commercial construction (schools, office buildings, churches, etc.)Track record of managing numerous commercial projects and staffStrategic thinker with a high level of integrity and leadership abilityAbility to manage multiple complex projects while mentoring superintendentsRequirements10+ years of experience as a General Superintendent or Field SuperintendentProven experience managing multiple large-scale commercial construction projectsFamiliarity with project management softwareCompensationCompetitive annual salary of $140,000 to $160,000 depending on experienceAnnual bonus incentive plan401(k) with company matchHealth insurance
