In this role, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and providing critical diagnostic evaluations that contribute to patient care. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting our mission to deliver the best patient care possible.Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and analyze results to assist in diagnosing cardiac conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine appropriate diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results in compliance with medical standards.
  • Ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols during procedures.
  • Educate patients on the echocardiogram process and provide support throughout their experience.
  • Stay updated on advancements in echocardiography techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Certification as an Echocardiographer or equivalent qualification required. (ARDMS, BLS, CCI RCS)
  • Strong knowledge of cardiology principles and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring and vital signs assessment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to cardiac care is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly within emergency medicine settings.
