- Manages the restaurant at all times to assure high quality of service and product.
- Coordinates efforts of all food & beverage employees; assures adequate staffing and supervision.
- Assures completion of necessary paperwork as needed on a daily basis. POS Reconciliation, Facility Check List, Safety Meetings.
- Constantly lead the search for innovation and change, and implement these changes to exceed our guests’ expectations and company goals.
- Maximize profitability and be fluent in labor and cost of sales reporting/management.
- Overall lodge/restaurant & location cleanliness, including snow removal.
- Inspect the quality of the food product received at the lodge.
- Maintains adequate inventory levels of all products according to business levels.
- Ability to attend work in a harsh weather environment.
- Ability to hold staff accountable to Vail Resorts, Inc. policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Maintain a Safe environment and keep the location compliant with all Health and Safety requirements.
- We are a company that works together, and throughout the season you may be required to assist other departments as needed.
- 3-5 years of Management/Supervisory experience in a high-volume Food and Beverage environment.
- Ability to pass skiing or snowboarding test to the minimum level for mountain access.
- Intermediate or better computer skills; working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook
- Exceptional communication skills, guest service, and team-building abilities.
- CA state food handlers permit, Serve Safe Certified Required
- Valid driver’s licenses required.
- TIPS Certification Required.
- Must be available on holidays & weekends
