Communicate effectively with physicians, coworkers, and nursing staff. Prioritization and organizational skills. Perform venipuncture and maintain specimen integrity. However, no accommodations will be made which may pose serious health or safety risks to the employee or others or which impose undue hardships on the organization.Education/Other Qualifications:Minimum Education: A high school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum Experience: Completion of phlebotomy program preferred.1 year of laboratory experience and/or completion of a formal phlebotomy training program. Basic laboratory computer/lab information system experience preferred.Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required. Must be obtained within 7 days of hire. Completion of formal phlebotomy training program and/or national phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ANP, ASPT or similar preferred.About Us: Who We AreWe are a community built on care.
