- Authors and maintains production plans that detail the assembly of spacecraft hardware.
- Participates in design peer reviews to ensure designs are manufacturable and engineering documentation aligns with strict processes and procedures.
- Evaluates non-conforming product and develops rework procedures to return fit/form/function to flight hardware.
- Partners with cross-functional groups to conduct root cause and corrective action investigations.
- Optimizes operational workflow by developing manufacturing processes and introducing new tools and techniques for harness fabrication.
- Responds to changing design requirements at all stages of the build process by revising production plans and returning product to the intended flight configuration.
- Provides direct support to Technicians on the manufacturing floor in a rapid-pace environment.
- Acts as manufacturing lead on assigned programs to ensure roadblocks are quickly alleviated while maintaining budget and schedule.
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with industry and internal standards.
- Designs and constructs full-scale mock-ups resembling spacecraft structure to aid in the manufacturing of exact-fit harnessing.

- Associate Manufacturing Engineer (T01) : Bachelor's degree or higher with 0 years of experience required (4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US. Government DoD security clearance
- Experience with Solumina / MES, TipQA, Costpoint/SAP, PTC Windchill/Thingworx, and Creo
- IPC IPC-J-STD-001 or IPC/WHMA-A-620
- Bachelor’s degree degree in a STEM field
