Overview:MasTec Civil is in search for a Construction Operations Intern-Part Time, in the form of a Co-Op! The Construction Operations Intern will directly assist the operations team with a wide range of projects related to project management, procedure development, quality, and special projects.   • Learn and perform project management functions of estimating, schedule planning, project controls, project reporting.
  • Work under close supervision to complete special projects as assigned.
  • Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Cash Construction’s Zero Injury principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precise execution.
  • Basic computer operation skills and familiarity with internet-based program navigation
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage numerous assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentially and professionalism.

Qualifications:Ideally college student in Engineering or Construction Management degree.Possess good organization skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.Current enrollment in a bachelor’s in project/construction management or related fieldLearn quickly and develop new skills.Must be proficiency using a personal computer, and Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook).Possess great focus to meet and exceed company requirements and expectations.Possess high work values, integrity, and ethical standard.Knowledge Skills & Abilities
