Position: Principal Analyst- DISA
Position Type: Full-time Onsite
Position Location: Huntsville, AL
Clearance Required: Active SecretWaypoint’s client is seeking a DISA Principal Analyst with extensive experience in military terrestrial and satellite communications (MILSATCOM), as well as DISA and DITCO practices and procedures. This senior-level role provides technical expertise and project management for telecommunications service requests, circuit coordination, and facility integration, directly supporting the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) mission.Responsibilities:
  • Develop, submit, and track Telecommunication Service Requests (TSRs) and Telecommunication Service Orders (TSOs) through the DISA STOREFRONT system.
  • Utilize the US Air Force Total Communications Order System (TCOSS) to monitor circuit status, including Delayed Service Requests, In-Effect Reports, and Exception Reports.
  • Use DISA platforms such as Mission Partner Portal (MPP), Implementation Information Exchange (IExx), and Enterprise Portal (DEPS) to manage circuit coordination, hardware/network requirements, and inquiries.
  • Coordinate and manage circuit funding requirements for Program Designator Codes (PDCs), submitting Lines of Accounting (LOAs) in the DISA TSEAS Inventory and Billing Information (TIBI) system.
  • Partner with user locations to ensure proper facility requirements (space, power, grounding, HVAC, etc.) for new hardware installations.
  • Apply network engineering solutions to support test, integration, and operations.
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Familiarity with USAF Cyberspace Infrastructure Planning System (CIPS).
  • Knowledge of USAF Beddown and USN Facilities Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (FSRM).
  • Ability to operate independently in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.
  • Expertise in systems engineering and execution processes.
Desired:
  • Proactive self-starter, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience collaborating in a badge-less contractor environment alongside government, prime, sub-contractor, and supporting personnel.
  • Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), and C3BM Program Office efforts.
