- Design, build, containerize, and test software applications
- Design and define API specifications for high performance, scalability, and availability
- Code, debug, test and support utilities, tools, and frameworks to support the application development process
- Document test cases, expected test results, test data requirements, and collaborate with testing teams and business partners to resolve testing problems
- Configure build pipelines, perform static and dynamic security analysis, and store build artifacts including container images and deployment scripts in artifact repositories
- Perform continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Identify and research issues with applications and recommend/implement solutions
- Perform research on the state-of-the-art and applicability of software solutions
- Other duties as assigned as pertains to software development
- Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other major field of study (equivalent relevant experience considered in lieu of degree)
- 10 or more years of experience in developing full-stack applications
- 10 or more years of experience in at least one major programming language (i.e., Java, Python, C#/C++, JavaScript)
- Experience with designing, creating, and consuming REST APIs and documenting using Swagger and OpenAPI specification
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience performing CI/CD and using applications like GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Nexus 3
- Experience building OCI compliant container images
- Experience working on deployment environments including virtual machines
- Experience performing agile software development
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction; effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel
- Master's Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or other major field of study
- Experience using container orchestration applications including Kubernetes
- Experience with graph databases
- Experience in implementing artificial intelligence services
- Experience working/developing in multi-domain, multi-cloud, hybrid-cloud environments
- Experience deploying applications on SIPRNet and JWICS
- Experience testing code/applications using current best practices and tools
- Experience working with cloud environments like AWS and/or Azure
- Scrum training/certification from Scrum Alliance
- Security+ training/certification CompTIA
