- Maintain a high level of awareness and knowledge of privacy regulatory compliance requirements to ensure policy, processes, and tools are in place to comply with privacy regulations.
- Responds to and resolves inquiries and issues relating to data privacy practices, data subject access requests, withdrawal of consent, the right to be forgotten, and related rights.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and corrective action plans for solution of issues.
- Collaborate with other business areas to ensure data privacy issues are identified and addressed at the outset of new projects, products, and initiatives.
- Perform ongoing risk assessments to maintain adequate coverage of significant compliance risks in the program.
- Monitors industry and regulatory landscape for evolutions, trends, and best practices related to data privacy to ensure the effectiveness of the data protection / data protection program.
- You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4+ years) in the field of data privacy; Juris Doctor a plus.
- You have a strong grasp of relevant data protection and privacy laws and practices.
- CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, or other privacy or cybersecurity certifications preferred.
