As a Patient Care Coordinator for a leading healthcare practice, you will play a key role in ensuring patients receive exceptional care throughout their journey from their first consultation to ongoing support.   • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing compassionate assistance and guidance with inquiries, scheduling appointments, and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication between patients, providers, and administrative staff.
  • Schedule initial consultations, fittings, and follow-up visits with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate appointment reminders and ensure timely follow-ups to minimize scheduling conflicts and missed visits.
  • Educate patients on options including features and benefits while offering empathetic support during decision-making.
  • Address patient concerns regarding insurance coverage, financing options, and warranties with professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Process paperwork related to appointments, new patient documentation, and invoicing.
  • Handle payment transactions, explain payment options, and support a seamless purchasing experience.
  • Track orders, monitor inventory, and verify insurance information from the billing department.
  • Build relationships with healthcare providers, senior centers, and community organizations to expand outreach and patient engagement.
Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse groups.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with computer software for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help improve the lives of patients with hearing loss.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or patient-facing role preferred.
