We're seeking a Precision OD / ID Grinder to join the team for an industrial component manufacturer located in Downers Grove.5:30AM - 3:30PM, Monday - Friday with additional overtime of 5 - 6 hours on Saturday's (2 - 3x / month)Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate OD/ID grinders to produce precision parts per engineering specifications and blueprints.Interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and process documentation to ensure correct part production.Monitor machining processes, adjusting feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed to maintain quality.Perform precision measurement and inspection using micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and other precision instruments.Maintain tolerances within ±.0001" and ensure high-quality surface finishes.Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent downtime.You should be proficient in:
