- Knowledgeable of INPO/WANO based environmental, health and Industrial safety programs.
- OSHA and other government EHS regulations.
- Knowledge of DOT and EPA and other government regulatory agencies associated with EHS standards is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficient with PC based applications such as MS Office.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Developing and leading comprehensive, cross-discipline EH&S improvement plans across all Framatome North America sites.
- Collaborating with management and serving as the primary contact for injury and incident notification, investigation and case management for all Inc. entities in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Maintaining a written log of safety inspection activities, incident reports, investigations, case management and correspondence.
- Evaluating, implementing, directing, and aiding in development of EH&S policies, programs and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, regulations and requirements.
- Is responsible for the Emergency preparedness and Security programs and implementation.
- Developing and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with implementation and effectiveness of industrial safety programs.
- Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for safety rules, regulations and best practices.
- Planning, implementing, and providing oversight of preventative care, safety and compliance training for employees and managers.
- Conducting EH&S meetings, audits and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective actions and implement follow-up assessments.
- Implementing and overseeing EH&S improvement and corrective action plans.
