Plus, you have time in your day for curriculum preparation!QUALIFICATIONSOur Lead Teacher needs to meet at least one of the following state requirements:
  • Completion of 18 credits in related coursework, including 3 credits in child/human growth and development, and 1000 hours of experience working with children in an elementary school or a licensed childcare program
  • Completion of 12 credits in related coursework plus 3000 hours of experience working with children in an elementary school or licensed childcare program
  • Non-expired child development associate (CDA) in center-based programs awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition
  • A credential from a MACTE-accredited teacher preparation program
  • 5+ years of experience as a licensed family childcare provider with no imposed enforcement actions
  • Completion of the New Hampshire Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program
  • 1000 hours of supervised childcare experience in a licensed program and completion of a 2-year vocational course in career and technical education with 9 credits in related coursework
  • Documentation that you were qualified for and employed as a lead teacher on or before November 6, 2017
Preferred Criteria:
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Ability to develop an educational and engaging curriculum
  • Attention to detail and collaboration skills
LEAD CHILDCARE TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIESThe typical schedule is 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.Every day is a new opportunity to spark joy, curiosity, and growth in young minds!
