The role will be responsible for forecast maintenance to ensure real-time demand view is available at all times for Purchasing and Sourcing teams to execute buys. This involves interfacing with internal stakeholders to get forecast data and using the correct planning BOMs to upload Item Requirements into MRP. The role will also be responsible for utilizing supportability models by platform, leading upto co-evaluation of supply with Procurement and Sourcing to meet supply goals. The Planner role includes effective inventory management and interfacing with buyers to drive inventory efficiencies and minimize exposure.Create and maintain supply plans and supplier forecastsUpload, create, and maintain planning and forecasting data in ERP systemEnsure stocking plans are maintained to avoid stock out situation without risking excess and obsolescenceIdentify shortage risks before it impacts production/orders and develop mitigation plans through supportability discussions with Procurement & Sourcing teams.Review un-usual changes in demand and validate with internal stakeholdersDrive Planning BOM and Planning Strategy updates based on historical data and future demand informationCreate Planning BOMs for New Product in conjunction with input from Engineering.Support NPI launches, evaluate supply readiness to ensure availability pre-launch.Set actions with buyers for driving to inventory targets based on planning and stocking strategies.Review on hand and on order exposure with buyers and drive actions to minimize liability and scrap.QualificationsQualifications:Education:Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain management, Engineering or Finance, MBA PreferredRequired Experience2-3 years of relevant experience, in Supply Chain management or Global ProcurementExperience with ERP systems, Bill of Materials, knowledge of manufacturing processesKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesOrganized and detail oriented, able to identify anomalies and errors in data, and to capture trends.Able to set direction, articulate point of view and influence others in getting consensusGood analytical skills, including knowledge of spreadsheetsWorking knowledge of Oracle ASCP preferredHigh energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast growth fast changing environmentIntellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving and comfort with ambiguityAble to assess a variety of information, draw similarities and compile actionable recommendationsStrong interpersonal skills, critical thinkingPhysical Requirements: Office environmentLight & Wonder Corporation and its affiliates are engaged in highly regulated gaming and lottery businesses.
