Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.The Sr. Principal Program Planning Schedule Analyst will be responsible for establishing appropriate tools and processes that support the successful implementation of Program Controls including preparing, developing, and baselining the integrated schedule to meet all program objectives.Roles & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prepares, develops, and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master scheduleCoordinate with business management and project management staff to develop an integrated program measurement baseline to manage cost, schedule, and technical performance of the programUse project scheduling software to plan and gauge progress against the plan. Identifies performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas with the technical (engineering and operations) leads. Works with the program team to develop courses of action and risk mitigation strategies to address performance issuesPerform thorough project analysis through metrics reviews and predictive analysis to enhance cost, schedule, and technical performancePerform Schedule risk analyses and works with the program manager to resolve risky schedules, critical path issues and network logic conflictsResponsible for analyzing schedules at least weekly to ensure program requirements are being metUtilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management (EVMS) and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to focus on critical areasCoordinate with the Program Manager on financial reports, quarterly EAC’s and all EVMS requirementsAble to travel up to 10% of the timeBasic Qualifications:Must either have a Bachelor degree with 8 years experience or a Master degree with 6 years experience or a PhD with 4 years experience. Will consider 12 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirementExperience with scheduling software with Microsoft ProjectMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needsPreferred Qualifications:Active Secret Security ClearanceExperience scheduling with the Aerospace and Defense IndustryWorking knowledge of EVMS guidelines and processesExperience with Schedule Analytics and Schedule Risk Assessment toolsPrimary Level Salary Range: $102,200.00 - $153,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
