- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide support with meals, hydration, and proper nutrition.
- Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to supervising staff.
- Support medication administration and documentation in accordance with CBRF training and state requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.
- Participate in social and recreational activities with residents to promote engagement and well-being.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
- Uphold resident rights, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New York.
- Completion of state-required CBRF training modules (medication administration, fire safety, first aid/CPR, etc.) or willingness to complete within required timeframe.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a CBRF, assisted living, or long-term care setting preferred.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
- Successful completion of background check and health screening.
