Pay Rate: $30/hrScope of Work: As a Product Marketing Coordinator Contractor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our global marketing efforts. You will be responsible for coordinating product marketing information, collateral, and scheduling in support of marketing strategies to promote our products effectively. Your work will directly impact our brand's visibility and market presence within the film industry.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate Communication Between Product Development and Global Marketing Teams
- Act as a point of contact for gathering and disseminating product development updates from the China-based product development team to the North American and global marketing teams.
- Maintain up-to-date records on all product development milestones, including key meetings, stage-gate review dates, and asset deadlines.
- Track expected inbound assets from engineering (e.g., product specifications, prototype images, feature documentation) and ensure timely distribution to marketing stakeholders.
- Organize and update a shared calendar or tracking system for all product development-related marketing deliverables.
- Monitor and help resolve website backlog tickets related to missing, outdated, or incorrect product information submitted by stakeholders across sales, service, and marketing.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to gather correct product data, assets, and documentation, ensuring timely updates to the website.
- Maintain a log of ticket status and resolution progress, escalating high-priority issues to ensure critical information is corrected promptly.
- Assist in establishing a structured process for reviewing and closing tickets, improving website accuracy and reducing turnaround time.
- Support tracking and logistics for product prototypes, ensuring their timely arrival for internal review, marketing content production, and regional demos.
- Maintain a prototype inventory list, coordinating with product development and marketing teams to determine priority allocations.
- Communicate prototype availability and expected delivery timelines to marketing stakeholders across different regions.
- Work closely with regional marketing teams to track their needs for product information, samples, and marketing assets.
- Maintain a structured process to ensure all regional teams receive updated product collateral, feature documentation, and key promotional materials.
- Assist in gathering feedback from regional teams on marketing materials and product positioning, relaying insights to the North American team.
- Maintain a structured workflow to track due dates for marketing assets related to each stage of the product development cycle.
- Ensure all required assets (product images, spec sheets, promotional videos, campaign copy, etc.) are delivered on time for global marketing initiatives.
- Support trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings, coordinating requirements, assignments, and schedules.
- Establish and evaluate marketing strategies and plans based on sales forecasts and promotional calendars.
- Conduct research to analyze the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer behavior.
- Weekly audits show 100% coverage of assigned products
- All updates logged within 1 business day
- Tracker actively referenced by at least 2 stakeholders
- Maintain a run-of-show tracker for launch asset deadlines, with 80% of regional submissions on time.
- GTM deck v1 completion within 3 days of product briefing
- GTM deck translated into Mandarin day-of global-English finalization
- 80% on-time asset submission and deployment across all regions (tracked via the run-of-show)
- Delivery logs confirm
- Clear 75% of assigned website backlog tickets within 7 business days of assignment.
- Maintain accuracy rate of 100% for updated product information (no repeat corrections required).
- Ticketing system logs confirm 75%+ of tickets resolved within 7 business days.
- Zero repeat submissions for previously resolved tickets within 30 days of closure.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-college professional experience in marketing coordination, marketing operations, MARCOM, or product marketing.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Professional-level proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (written and oral); intermediate-level candidates may be considered.
- Demonstrated interest in entertainment technology and/or the film industry, with a preference for candidates with formal business or marketing backgrounds rather than purely creative/filmmaking experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex information across global teams.
- Professionally persistent in following up with stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of information, assets, and feedback.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp complex and technical product information, ensuring an accurate understanding of what we sell without needing to be a technical specialist.
