CNC Machinist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating CNC machinery. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling precision parts while ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. This role requires proficiency in programming and operating various types of CNC equipment, including milling machines and electrical discharge machining.Schedule:
  • Full-time: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Overtime available
Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, including CNC laser and resistance welding machines, plasma cutters, shear, crane, forklift, and grinders, to produce precision metal parts.
  • Perform custom fabrication work according to blueprint specifications and quality standards.
  • When not building pallets, you would work on general labor tasks around our fabrication shop
  • Utilize carpentry skills for creating skids and crates.
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate machined parts with welded components
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshooting any issues that arise during operations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop new processes and improve existing ones.
  • Follow strict safety protocols, including wearing protective gear and adhering to shop safety procedures
Qualifications:
  • Must have at least (2) two years of manufacturing experience
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate to Justin, TX, before starting
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a welding or manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training/technical education is a plus).
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery and basic carpentry tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a noisy and dynamic shop environment.
