Location: MO, USAs a Talend Developer, you will:
- Develop stable, secure, scalable and highly performing Code /Components which are easy to inspect, test, service and support.
- Delivery within time commitments adhering to approved designs, Deployment standards and meeting set quality goals confirming to coding standards & best practice with minimal defects.
- Learn to Influence team and stakeholders to proactively resolve issues
- Perform unit/module testing of software to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications
- Write dev plan covering all scenarios based on information provided by functional specs.
- Provide accurate time and resource estimates result in on-schedule delivery
- Mentor juniors in the team and take accountability for their delivery like reviewing deliverables, providing solutions and providing technical support and training.
- Contribute to solutioning and ensuring solutions adhere to established technological standards
- identify the scenarios/functionality that are missing or usability and take proper action
- Independently handle component level design
- Analyze and permit impact of change

- Designs and implement proof of concept as needed for solutions as an individual contributor
- Expand software engineering knowledge beyond what is needed to complete the work. Learn new technologies/platforms during the spare time and present the learnings to others in the company
- Expertise and execute in Agile & other Delivery methodologies followed in organization.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with ETL development
- Hands on experience on implementing different loading strategies like SCD1 and SCD2, Table/ partition refresh, insert update, Swap Patriation using Talend.
- Experience in Consuming and writing data from and to Flat files, RDMBS systems, MPPS, Jason and XML using Talend
- Experience on RDBMS systems and concepts
- Expertise in writing and complex SQL queries and developing Database components including creating views, stored procedures, triggers etc.
- Create test cases and perform unit testing of ETL Jobs using Talend.
- Hands on experience on ETL jobs orchestration using Talend.
- Hands on experience on creating Triggers on TAC server for Scheduling the Talend jobs
- Experience on creating batch level processing, parallel process using Talend.
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Awareness of Replication, Synchronization and Disaster Management techniques
- Awareness of Data Quality Management
- Hands on experience on implementing efficient ETL jobs
- Hands on experience on implementing CDC ETL jobs and well versed in using different data transformations like data enrichment, aggregation, removing duplicates etc., as per business needs
- Hands on experience in implementing data driven ETL designs
- Hands on experience in implementing reusable ETL components as per well-defined standards
- Efficient use of parameter and configuration files in ETL job implementation
- Hands on experience in applying performance tuning techniques on long running ETL Jobs
- Experience in handling Operating system, ETL and Job scheduling and orchestration using Python
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience Unix/Linux programming (shell and/or Perl)
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience PowerShell scripting (shell and/or Perl)
- Hands on experience on creating table partitions, indexes, views, materialized views etc.,
- Hands on experience on writing complex SQL queries using joins, aggregate/analytical functions, CTE etc.,
- Hands on experience in fine tuning the long running SQL Queries
- Good to be aware of OS Compute, Networking, internal working of DB and ETL Server and its impact on ETL Design, Data transfer and Data Processing.
- Good to have knowledge of Agile Methodology
- B.E/ B. Tech, MS, M. Tech, MCA
- 3-8 Years of Experience
