This individual will be an integral part of the Finance team in many areas. This is a great opportunity that will allow for career growth as the Company continues to expand!Your day-to-dayResponsibilities include:Equity system administration:
- Manage Shareworks and Equity Edge Online systems, including participant accounts, plans and award type set up and updates.
- Administer company's global equity incentive plans and ensure that all equity transactions (grant set up, grant acceptance, vesting, cancellation, repurchase, payout, release, etc.) are processed, settled and documented timely and accurately
- End-to-end administration of global restricted cash award plan and retention cash award plan including vesting, payout, income reporting to ensure tax compliance and accuracy
- Reconcile and perform internal auditing procedures relating to equity transactions to ensure accuracy
- Manage equity systems including configuration, data integrity and roll-out of new or modified plans
- Lead efforts to enhance and automate processes and improve efficiency
- Resolve employee inquiries, issues or concerns as related to the Company equity programs
- Liaise with employees or former employees regarding their grant acceptance, repurchase agreements, schedule K-1, etc.
- Coordinate and provide adequate information and timely response related to equity transactions with Legal, Finance, HR, Tax and Payroll departments to ensure effective transaction processing
- Maintain and update equity awards program FAQ in Company’s Wiki
- Maintain procedure documentation and system updates to ensure SOX Compliance and audit-readiness
- Prepare capitalization table, and outstanding and vested equity awards roll forward reports monthly
- Perform quarterly audit between transactions in equity systems and payroll/AP records to ensure proper taxable income reporting
- Respond promptly to financial audit or international audit requests and provide ad-hoc reports for Finance, Tax, HR and Legal as needed
- Work closely with HR, payroll and tax teams to address mobility taxation matters and prepare taxable income analysis
- Support tax team in reporting including 1099, Schedule K-1 data reconciliation and report review, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree required,
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation required.
- At least 4-8 years of equity administration or similar role in a large company with 10+ foreign subsidiaries preferred
- Private company equity administration experience a plus
- Experience with Morgan Stanley’s Shareworks and Equity Edge Online systems is required
- Advanced Excel user who is proficient in maintaining models and performing data analysis
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skill
- Comprehensive knowledge of various types of equity awards and programs across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and customer service oriented
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
