AWS is looking for a highly motivated and deeply analytical Program Manager, Large Pursuits, Migration and Modernization to support and execute strategic programs with key members of the rapidly growing Global Business Innovation to Scale (GBITS) team.We are seeking a dynamic, specialist Program Manager for our Strategic Pursuits team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end to end lifecycle of a Strategic Pursuit ($500M+ Total contract value sales pursuits) working with Enterprise customers and/or Global System Integration partners. Strategic pursuits involve C-level and senior executive level engagement from AWS and our customers/partners. In this role, you will build and manage a Strategic Pursuits plan, identify key risks and issues if any, and proactively drive actions to clear hurdles and drive resolution. In this role, you will work across multi-functional teams within AWS including GTM, partner management, AWS sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Marketing. You will also work frequently with worldwide counterparts across geographies.You must have proven track record of successfully delivering and executing strategic high visibility programs in a fast moving environment, collaborating well with business and technical teams, managing program operations, have a passion for technology, a high degree of business acumen, and a broad knowledge of programs and operations.To be successful in this role, you will work as a strategic advisor to the internal and external stakeholders while driving the adoption and engagement of large pursuits. You must have analytical acumen and problem-solving skills to translate ambiguous, and often incomplete, information into action plans and insights. This role requires you to think big, dive deep, bias for action, and showcase your people and program management skills. You will bring innovation, passionate voice, and an ability to prioritize and execute at the pace of achieving large pursuit deals by working across various teams.Preferred Locations - Dallas, TX; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; NYC, NY; Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; We are reasonably flexible to work locations across US near major cities where AWS offices are present.   • Coordinate across many AWS teams with impact and visibility at the highest levels of the AWS partner team
  • Document processes and collaborate cross functionally to improve processes, tools, and templates to make it simple and easy for teams at all levels to deliver and meet the Amazon quality bar
  • Maintain and provide the state of the business in a single pane for all the stakeholders on strategic pursuits managed including potential risks and issues to enable timely, data driven decisions
  • Partner with the Strategy and Planning team to manage business planning and operational cycles (monthly, quarterly, annually) for the large pursuits team and coordinating with leaders of other business areas as needed and to support partner teams with streamlining and continually improving processes designed to deliver strategic pursuits
  • Set and manage the cadence for monitoring progress against pursuit objectives and plan, ensuring all stakeholders understand and plan for what needs to be delivered throughout the year
  • Facilitate meetings, working sessions, and exercises that assist the leadership team in optimizing effectiveness amongst themselves and across the organization in general
  • Establish credibility and maintain working relationships with partner groups involved with information security matters (Legal, Business Development, Internal Audit, Fraud, Physical Security, Developer Community, Networking, Systems, etc.)
  • Take on special projects on an as needed basis to include delivering on narrowly focused tasks to broader ranging initiatives that need definition and the curation of insights

The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market.
