Job Description:If you are a Program Manager or Oracle Expert, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Pittsburgh, PA, you will join the Systems and Solutions business to lead and manage the Oracle Implementation Teams. As the Oracle Program Manager, you will work closely with the IT and Local Implementation Teams, as well as the Emerson Process Program Management Office, Standards Board, and various Project Steering Committees, to managing projects on time, within scope, and on budget. You will also help drive strategic initiatives, implement efficiency-improving operating processes, and ensure high internal customer satisfaction!IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
  • Manage execution of Oracle projects within time and budget constraints. Drive strategic initiatives, improve operation process efficiency, and instill a customer service mentality into all teams.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with key players to align on projects and priorities. Ensure goals are set, measured, and communicated throughout all teams.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the functional team managers, standards teams, and internal customers. Ensure appropriate resources, tools, and processes are available for achieving critical objectives.
  • Think strategically to formulate short- and long-term plans, and implement those plans.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, cost leverage, innovation, speed and flexibility. Ensure that work is completed with pride, integrity, and a sense of urgency.
  • Drive for results with consistency and excellency. Utilize metrics to encourage positive behavior and growth. Instill accountability and trust in the teams, and demonstrate willingness and ability to learn from our mistakes.
  • Demonstrate good communication abilities, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, as well as exceptional customer service orientation, and a proficiency and desire for working with numbers (i.e. budgets, prices, standard, etc.).

You orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously to accomplish a goal. You partner with others to get work done.FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant IT Business Systems experience, with direct experience leading application teams.
  • Experience in Oracle EBS Applications
  • Proficient at dealing with all levels of the organization in a constructive, productive fashion.
  • Fluent in English
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
  • Willingness and Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience managing global teams and systems
  • Proven ability to lead large global initiatives or projects to successful conclusion
