
Territory Sales Representative

- Manage an assigned geographical territory and or assigned key customer accounts, to promote and sell all our products and services. (New and Used Equipment, Service, Parts, Rental and allied products). Ensure our customers are retained by consistent sales calls, checking on the customers satisfaction, help them with any of their material handling needs, develop relationships at all levels of the customer organization. Build and use a detailed customer/prospect matrix. All of this is tied to your ability to sell and meet required sales quotas as identified for your territory. Expected Result is to meet the required sales quota.
- Sell required products and services per established quotas for territory (as determined by the GM and/or Sales Manager) through consistent strong relationship building and customer service. Grow and retain a solid customer base for your territory. This includes completing a Daily and Weekly call plan. Expected result: 40 to 50 customer/prospect touches a week
- Meet defined profit goals for assigned territory and grow and maintain territory market share. Expected Result: Sales and profit goals are met for the assigned territory, market share growth in all departments of our company.
- Material Handling Equipment Experience or education in this field.
- Sales experience, preferably in the Material Handling or Equipment field. Strong cold calling skills.
- Strong Customer Service skills with ability to build relationships.
- Ability to provide strong and effective oral and written communications to customers, staff and other department managers.
- Requires strong computer skills: MS office, quote work, excel and other required electronic reports.
