Job Description:Role Summary/Purpose:Handle and support Commercial Collections Late Stage inbound and outbound calling, escalated calls, associate question calls as well as handle CARES administrative duties.Essential Responsibilities:Inbound and Outbound collection calls on Late Stage (91+) delinquent accounts which includes Managed account segmentation and all Sam's Club Direct delinquent accountsEvaluate and Process accounts for write-offComplete skip tracing as neededExecute late stage strategies and work closely with leadership team to identify potential gaps including project work for RECON and FraudSupport floor coverage and assist when neededOffer and document financial assistance plans i.e., forbearance CAP and Settlements (when available)Assist with the process for the handling & resolution of escalated customer callsProvide answers to general system, compliance, procedural and collection questionsEffectively provide feedback on violations of floor standards, policies & procedures and provide feedback to the Collection Manager/PCM’sAssist team with the notification/identification troubleshooting and follow-up of system problemsPerform other duties and/or special projects as assignedQualifications/Requirements:6+ months of Commercial Collections experience and knowledge of current collections applications (i.e. Genius/GECOM/DM11, etc)Not on active formal or final formal corrective actionAble to work M-F 9:30am-6:00pmDesired Characteristics:Excellent interpersonal skills to include handling of interpersonal conflictSuperior written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organizationStrong PC skillsSelf-motivated, self-directedActive listening skills - ability to handle difficult customers situations with professionalismPossess a high level of integrityTeam Player and excellent analytical skillsGrade/Level: 06The hourly rate range for this position is $23.50 - $31.50/hr USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.Eligibility Requirements:You must be 18 years or olderYou must have a high school diploma or equivalentYou must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding processYou must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
