This role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care while managing staff, driving performance improvement initiatives, and maintaining fiscal responsibility. The Nurse Manager fosters a supportive, collaborative environment and provides 24/7 accountability for the unit.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver goal-directed nursing care through evidence-based practices.Manage, mentor, and develop unit staff, promoting professional growth.Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards.Oversee unit budgets and maintain operating expenses within targets.Engage in patient, physician, and employee satisfaction initiatives.Foster interdisciplinary teamwork to achieve optimal patient outcomes.Lead process improvements and maintain regulatory compliance.Promote a culture of safety and patient-centered care via education and performance reviews.QualificationsExperience: 2+ years recent acute care leadership in critical care or cardiac stepdown.
