Diesel Mechanic

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semi-trucks, diesel pickups, and heavy equipment within the company fleet.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and expertise.
• Troubleshoot and repair key systems such as engines, transmissions, suspension, and braking systems on diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct inspections to ensure all vehicles and equipment meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Collaborate with the fleet management team to prioritize and schedule repairs and service.
• Comply with company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and ensure maximum equipment uptime.
• Help maintain a clean and organized shop environment.

• 7-10 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, working on semi-trucks, diesel pickups, and heavy equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience diagnosing diesel engine problems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical diagrams, and schematics.
• Experience working with electrical systems, fuel systems, and air systems in diesel engines.
• Ability to perform both minor and major repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is a plus but not required.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and at different heights.
• Ability to kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.
