- Develop, promote, and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports.
- Create advancements in current quality engineering practices.
- Retrieve, review, and analyze Quality data including performing trend analysis and identifying quality improvement opportunities.
- Work with process and program owners to prepare, analyze and improve quality metrics for management and program reviews.
- Review documents, procedures, diagrams, and/or flow charts, to determine if they will perform and conform to contractual, AS9100, or QMS requirements.
- Monitor the application of improvement initiatives, researching best practices to impact quality improvement initiatives and utilization standards.
- Identify and recommend procedures and work with others to implement and streamline workflows.
- Provide training to enable employees to meet consistent quality standards.
- Participate in internal, regulatory and customer audits.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field required. Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing experience, including experience in composite fabrication with practical application of quality assurance a plus
- Commercial/military aerospace experience is preferred
- Must have demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Must have strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
- Salary range for this role is between $80,000 - $145,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
