Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – 2024–2025 School Year – In-PersonAmpersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for the current 2024–2025 school year. We offer full-time, in-person positions working in school settings.As a women- and therapist-founded company supporting schools nationwide and local to Illinois, our goal is to elevate your school-based experience. Location: In-person (8th Grade)
Start Date: August 2024 (2024–2025 School Year)
Service Area: Evaluations, IEPs, progress reports, and team collaborationYour Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations
  • Provide therapy treatments aligned with student goals
  • Prepare IEP reports and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with special education teams
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation
  • Attend staff and multidisciplinary team meetings
What We’re Looking For
  • Illinois State Speech Language Pathology license or willingness to acquire ASAP
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement or willingness to acquire ASAP
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
  • Strong skills in student assessment, intervention, and IEP development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
