Description :Under the immediate supervision of the Network Manager, the IT Support Specialist is essential to the effective operation of the Hospital’s IT team. This role will be the first call to coordinate help desk and support requests for the team. They will also assist the Data Analytics group in monitoring, reporting, and data governance for the hospital's EHR and other information systems. The IT Support Specialist will also be involved in varied projects with the EHR support, desktop support, and network support teams.Responsibilities:
  • Tier I Helpdesk Support: Responds to and document customer requests for technical support in the IT Helpdesk system. Troubleshoot and resolve Tier I support requests. Identify and escalate priority issues appropriately. Perform all required tasks in a timely, professional manner and within service-level objectives. Interact effectively and coordinate appropriate resources to resolve issues. Install and support software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Citrix Workspace, Imprivata, and other business applications.
  • User Administration: Responsible for timely user management tasks including user termination tasks, troubleshooting access issues, and assisting with user onboarding and change processes.
  • Data Analytics:Assist in the creation of SQL queries to create customized reporting. Maintain and monitor reporting schedules, jobs, and availability. Report and Monitor system interface availability. Provide data analytics support and data governance support to the organization. Coordinate and facilitate access with report programmers and developers on the creation and modification of report requests
  • Projects: Assist in projects with Data Analytics, EHR Support, Desktop Support, and Networking teams as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of Information Technology or Data Analytics experience.
  • On-Site and participates in the on-call rotation.
