- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as preparing and analyzing samples, conducting experiments, and recording data
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
- Assist with the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Document experimental procedures and results accurately
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Contribute to the development of new laboratory techniques and protocols
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., biology, chemistry, biochemistry) or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a lab technician
- Strong experience working in a clean environment and adhering to strict cleanliness standards
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques and equipment operation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ASTM test standards related to wood or metal
